I had to take a bit of a break to deal with a family emergency, but I couldn’t leave my duty to rosé for too long, so let’s pick right back up where we left off!
Today we have a rosé from South Africa, Mulderbosch, made from Cabernet Sauvignon.
Bottle: 4/5 – I’ve always liked the look of this producers’ label, and I like that they kept the rosé in line with the rest of their wines.
Color: 4/5 – Deeper than usual, kind of a cranberry cocktail vibe. Nice!
Chugability: 3.5/5 – This was just not as refreshing as I wanted it to be.
Price to Quality Ratio: 3.5/5 – I paid about $12 for this at Whole Foods. It’s a reasonable value for the money, but not blowing me away.
Overall Score: 15/20. Drinkable, but not notable.
